Mujahid: Thomas West’s travels are useless, direct communication with America is necessary

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, called the trips of Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, “useless”.

Mr. Mujahid added in the audio tape published by the National Radio and Television of Afghanistan that the “stereotyped and marginal” trips of Thomas West will not cure the basic pain of Afghanistan until America does not have a direct relationship with the Islamic Emirate.

He said that these trips are America’s plan and direct communication and diplomatic solutions are important for Afghanistan.
