The plan to build 4 terminals in Kabul was entrusted to the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation

Officials in the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing have said that the Ministry has entrusted the construction of four terminals to the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation in order to facilitate the transportation process in the four zones of Kabul.
Mohammad Kamal Afghan, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, said that until now, the Ministry has provided nearly 1,670 acres of land to the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation for the construction of two transport terminals in two zones of Kabul.
According to Mr. Afghan, this plan was made to reduce the congestion in the city and the lands related to this ministry in Khak Jabar and Chahar Asiyab areas of Kabul were entrusted to the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation, and the work is going on to determine the land in the other two zones.
Mohammad Kamal Afghan said: “According to an understanding, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing entrusted the honorable Ministry of Transportation and Aviation with the task of preparing a design plan based on their needs and specifications on how they want to build the terminals there.”
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation has said that the design work of these two terminals will begin this solar year.
Imamuddin Ahmadi, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation, says: “This year, we have a plan in the area of stone inscriptions and khaq Jabar to make terminals suitable for trucks on the eastern and southeastern roads.”
In the meantime, some residents of the capital consider the construction of transit terminals important for reducing traffic congestion.
Sharifullah, a resident of Kabul, said: “Big cars come at unspecified times and pass with an irregular system. They created chaos inside the city. If this happens, it is the best course of action.”
Shamsuddin, another resident of Kabul, says: “Establishing terminals in the corners of the four zones of Kabul will bring comfort and improvement to the citizens, as there will be less traffic. It is a good thing if everything is unloaded in its place from all four corners of Kabul.”
Based on the statistics of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, until now 1000 acres of government land in Khak Jabar area and another 669 acres of land in Chahar Asyab of Kabul have been entrusted to the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation.
