12 Political Figures Return to Afghanistan Through Commission

Ahmadullah Wasiq, the head of the Commission for Contact with Personalities, stated that in the past month of this solar year, twelve political figures and some other individuals have returned to the country through this commission.

According to Wasiq, those returning to the country face no threats, and immunity cards have been issued to them.

The head of the commission said: “In the past month, twelve people have returned to their homeland through the Commission for Contact with Personalities, and they are living happily here with their friends and relatives.”

Some political analysts believe that the returning figures should be utilized in various sectors.

Fazl-ur-Rahman Oria, a political analyst, said: “Afghanistan is the common home of all Afghans. Those who were affiliated with the previous regime and held various positions can also live with dignity in Afghan society and engage in different activities.”

Aziz Marij, a former diplomat, told : “If the Islamic Emirate truly wants to attract Afghanistan’s cadres, they must create a mechanism for them to participate in governmental roles according to their expertise.”

According to the statistics from the Commission for Contact with Personalities, since its establishment, 992 people have returned to the country, and immunity cards have been issued to them.
