Erdogan’s congratulatory message on the occasion of Azerbaijan Independence Day

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated the Republic of Azerbaijan on Independence Day. Erdogan shared a congratulatory message on his account on social networks on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s Independence Day.

In this message, the President of Turkey wrote: I congratulate from the bottom of my heart on October 18th, the Independence Day of the friendly and supportive country of Azerbaijan, which is based on the principle of “two states, one nation”. Hereby, I send greetings to my dear Ilham Aliyev Bardar and all the people of Azerbaijan with sincere and friendly feelings. In his message, the Turkish president also shared a picture of the waving flags of Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
