Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi’s visit to Pakistan
Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, who traveled to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan for several official visits, said upon his arrival in this country: In Islamabad, he discussed a wide range of relations between the two countries, how to deal with the threats of the Zionist regime and We negotiate to reduce tensions in the region.
Araghchi added: In continuation of periodic trips to the countries of the region that were made due to the current sensitive situation, we are now happy that we came to Pakistan in the last stage. Iran and Pakistan have special relations that are rooted in the neighborhood, old ties, wide-ranging people-to-people relations, as well as extensive political, economic and cultural connections.
He said: Iran’s relations with Pakistan have always been fraternal and friendly, and in this trip we will try to explore a wide range of mutual relations and all-round cooperation. During this trip, we will discuss regional developments, including the threats of the Zionist regime and the crisis created in the region, how to deal with these threats and reduce tensions in the region with our Pakistani friends.
Araghchi is going to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Senator Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, as well as General Syed Asim Munir, the commander of the country’s army, in Islamabad.
