Chinese Embassy: Peace, Stability in Afghanistan ‘Vital’

The Chinese Embassy in Kabul said peace and stability in Afghanistan are beneficial for the region and the world. The Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Kabul emphasized that the proper solution to Afghanistan’s current issues lies in political dialogue.

The Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan stated: “Within the framework of the United Nations, China has always supported resolving international disputes through dialogue and consultation and backs the peace process in Afghanistan. Peace and stability in Afghanistan are vital not only for regional security but also for global development.”

He further added that political dialogue is the key to addressing Afghanistan’s current issues and called on the international community to provide greater assistance for Afghanistan’s peaceful reconstruction.

This Chinese official further stated: “We believe that political dialogue is the correct solution to Afghanistan’s issues, and we urge the international community to provide more support for Afghanistan’s peaceful reconstruction.”

At the same time, the Islamic Emirate has described peace and stability in the country as beneficial for the region and emphasized greater cooperation.

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, said: “Afghanistan is a country that, if supported and cooperated with, its peace and stability will influence the region.”

“China is one of the five countries with veto power in the United Nations and has managed excellent relations with Afghanistan over the past three and a half years. China can act as a highly effective lobbyist to find solutions for all political conflicts through dialogue,” said Zalmay Afghanyar, a political analyst.

Earlier, the Special Representative of China for Afghanistan stated in an exclusive interview with that China is consulting with regional countries regarding the recognition of the Islamic Emirate.
