The US and Qatar signed a $50 million agreement to strengthen education in Afghanistan

The United States Agency for Development (USAID) and the Qatar Education for All Foundation (EAA) signed an agreement worth $50 million to support educational programs in Afghanistan on the sidelines of the annual meeting of the Doha Forum.

This financial aid is intended to register 100,000 children deprived of education and provide 2,000 scholarships for Afghan students.

In addition to funding, this agreement also focuses on strengthening Afghanistan’s education sector.
