Maulvi Amir Khan Motaghi met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan during his trip to Herat

Maulvi Amir Khan Motaghi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, traveled to Herat at the head of a high-ranking delegation and met and discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Mardov, at the common border between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan.

Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs also met with Maulana Noor Ahmad Islam Jar, Governor of Herat and discussed various issues. In this meeting, which took place in the area of ​​the TAPI gas pipeline project, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan provided detailed information to the delegation about the progress of the TAPI project and the acceleration of the work process of this project.

Recently, the two sides agreed that in order to speed up the work process of the TAPI project, expand railways, electricity, increase transit facilities and expand economic cooperation, the technical teams of both sides will continue their coordination meetings in Kabul and Ashgabat.
