Mujahid: Relations with World Countries ‘Improving’
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, told that the interim government’s relations with various countries are improving.
Mujahid stated that they have managed to convince many countries that Afghanistan is a safe place and poses no threat to other nations.
He also said that relations and interactions with Tajikistan have improved, and that Afghanistan poses no threat to this country.
The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate said: “We strive to ensure that countries have no doubts or concerns about Afghanistan. Any existing doubts and feelings of insecurity must be resolved. The Islamic Emirate has managed to convince many countries that Afghanistan is a safe place and that no threat emanates from Afghan soil towards other countries, including Tajikistan, which should feel assured in this regard.”
At the same time, some political analysts believe that the Islamic Emirate must address the demands of neighboring and regional countries while safeguarding national interests.
“All the people of Afghanistan have witnessed over the past three years and several months that continued interaction with regional, neighboring, and global countries by the current interim government of Afghanistan has been the sole source of assistance to the Afghan people, playing a significant role in Afghanistan’s economic growth,” said Najib Rahman Shamal, a political affairs analyst.
Nevertheless, despite the Islamic Emirate’s development of relations with some countries over the past three years, no country has yet officially recognized this government.
