Afghanistan, Russia agree to expand economic ties, send Afghan workers

Mullah Abdul Manan Omari, acting minister of labor and social affairs, met with a Russian delegation led by Dmitry Zhirnov in Kabul. He emphasized Afghanistan’s good relations with regional countries and supported domestic and foreign investment.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to expand economic ties, create a market for Afghan agricultural products in Russia, and send Afghan workers to the country. The Russian ambassador also emphasized increasing trade between the two countries and promised to support Afghan and Russian investors.
