Argentina to Withdraw from World Health Organization

Argentine President Javier Milla has decided to withdraw his country from the organization due to deep differences with the organization.
The Associated Press reported, citing an Argentine government spokesman, that the country was opposed to the WHO’s policies, especially during the coronavirus outbreak.
According to Argentine officials, the organization’s guidelines during the coronavirus pandemic caused one of the largest shutdowns in history.
Previously, the United States had also withdrawn from the WHO due to its ineffectiveness in controlling the coronavirus and some other reasons.
