Iranian Consul General: Khamenei has emphasized maximum interaction with Afghanistan

Alireza Ahmadi, the Iranian Consul General in Balkh, says that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the country’s religious leader, has emphasized Tehran’s maximum interaction with Afghanistan.

IRNA reported that Ahmadi said in a press conference on Saturday, February 10, that Iran has adopted a policy of maximum interaction with Afghanistan based on the decree of its leader.

The Iranian diplomat added that developing economic relations with Afghanistan is one of the country’s main priorities.

He stated that efforts are continuing to hold a trade fair between the two countries as soon as possible.
