Munir Akram: Terrorism has damaged Pakistan’s economy

Pakistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations said at a Security Council meeting that his country is a victim of terrorist attacks, which in addition to causing casualties, have also damaged Pakistan’s economy.
Munir Akram did not name any country in the meeting, but claimed that these attacks are funded by “regional enemies.”
According to Munir Akram, although ISIS has been suppressed in Iraq and Syria, its branches have emerged in other regions.
