Germany’s Söder Must Start Negotiations with Islamic Emirate to Deport Afghan Migrants

After an attack by an Afghan citizen in Munich, Markus Söder, Prime Minister of the German state of Bavaria, called for the immediate start of negotiations with the Islamic Emirate regarding deportation flights for migrants to Afghanistan.
Stressing the need for one flight per week, Mr. Söder said that the German Foreign and Interior Ministers should begin direct negotiations with the Islamic Emirate on this issue from Monday.
German media reported, quoting Söder, that in the state of Bavaria alone, about 2,000 Afghan citizens are eligible for deportation from Germany, nearly 200 of whom have committed serious crimes.
He also called for the suspension of issuing new visas to Afghans in the near future.
