First Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs Meets with Representatives of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Kabul

The Ministry of Interior Affairs has said that Mohammad Nabi Omari, First Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs, met today (Tuesday, April22) with Dr. Mirdif Al-Qashouti, Representative of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Afghanistan, at the headquarters of the Ministry.

The Ministry’s statement stated that in this meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Qatar, the security situation in the region, as well as the expansion of joint cooperation.

Mr. Omari thanked the Qatari government for its cooperation with the people of Afghanistan in various fields and expressed hope that this cooperation would expand further.

Mr. Al-Qashouti also emphasized his country’s support for the stability and security of Afghanistan, adding that Qatar is ready to cooperate with the Afghan side in other relevant fields.
