Russian Ambassador Invites Acting Minister of Water and Energy to Participate in Kazan Economic Summit

Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Acting Minister of Water and Energy, met with Dmitry Zhirnov, Russian Ambassador to Kabul, in his office.

During the meeting, Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour invited Russian government and private companies to invest in water and energy projects in Afghanistan, especially in the project to transfer water from Panjshir to Kabul, the construction of water dams in Takhar, Baghlan, Herat and Ghazni, and the production of electricity from coal, wind, solar and gas sources.

Dmitry Zhirnov also assured that he would share the necessary information on investing in water and energy projects in Afghanistan with government and private companies in Russia and invited the Acting Minister of Water and Energy to participate in the Kazan Economic Summit to be held in May this year.
