Security Council approves exemption from travel ban for Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaqi to Qatar

The UN Security Council Sanctions Committee has announced that it has approved an exemption from the travel ban for Foreign Minister Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaqi to travel to Doha.
The council’s statement said that the exemption was approved from April 27 to May 4 for Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaqi to meet with Qatari officials.
The Foreign Minister is scheduled to travel to Doha, the capital of Qatar, and discuss bilateral relations with officials in the country.
