Erdogan: Turkey wants to reduce tensions between India and Pakistan

Following the reactions to the recent tensions between India and Pakistan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has also called for a reduction in tensions between the two countries.

According to Reuters, Mr. Erdogan said yesterday (Monday) after a cabinet meeting in Ankara that Turkey wants India and Pakistan to reduce tensions.

Tensions between New Delhi and Islamabad rose after a number of tourists were killed in Pahalgam, Kashmir; an event that led to limited relations between the two countries and the soldiers of the two countries exchanged fire at night several times.
