Kazan Conference; Islamic Emirate Delegation Leaves for Russia

The Russian TASS news agency has reported that the Islamic Emirate delegation, led by Nuruddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade, has left for Russia to participate in the “Russia and the Islamic World Forum” in Kazan.

The delegation consists of senior officials from the Ministries of Industry and Trade, Agriculture, and Energy of the Islamic Emirate, who are said to be meeting with Russian officials for specialized meetings.

The main purpose of this trip has been announced to be exploring new areas of bilateral cooperation.

An informed source in Kabul told TASS: “This delegation was formed at the ministerial level and reflects Afghanistan’s serious determination to develop relations with Russia.”

The Russia and the Islamic World Forum is known as one of the most important diplomatic events in the field of inter-civilizational dialogue.

Other programs planned for the delegation include holding bilateral meetings with Russian officials and visiting industrial and agricultural centers in the Tatarstan region.
