Afghanistan and Uzbekistan agree to establish a joint trade center

The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate announced that Ahmadullah Zahid, Deputy Minister of the Ministry, during his visit to Tashkent, met with the Deputy Minister of Industry, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan and discussed expanding economic relations and resolving the challenges of businessmen.
According to the ministry’s press release, the two sides have agreed to soon begin work on establishing a joint trade center.
Uzbekistan has established good economic relations with the Islamic Emirate for nearly four years, and the country’s Minister of Trade recently said that he wants to increase trade with Afghanistan to three billion dollars per year.
