Guterres: Afghanistan needs international cooperation more than ever

At the opening ceremony of the Sustainable Development Goals Center for Central Asia and Afghanistan in Kazakhstan, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres stated that Afghanistan needs international support and cooperation more than ever.

Referring to the widespread challenges such as poverty, displacement, earthquakes and climate shocks faced by the people of the country, he emphasized that the center, in cooperation with regional partners and the international community, will support the path to sustainable development in Afghanistan.
