Islamic Emirate: Avoid Malicious Intentions, We Are Watching Everything

At a ceremony commemorating August 19 (Afghan Independence Day) at the Ministry of Defense, the defense minister emphasized that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan does not interfere in the internal affairs of others and will not allow anyone to interfere in its own.

Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid delivered a strong warning to neighboring countries, the region, and global powers, urging them to abandon any malicious intentions toward Afghanistan.

He said: “We convey this message to regional countries, neighboring states, and global powers: if you have ill intentions toward Afghanistan, give them up. Afghanistan has no bad intentions toward you; it seeks positive relations with all based on Islamic Sharia.”

The Foreign Minister also stated that Afghanistan is now more united than ever and stressed that no one should harbor ill will toward the country.

Amir Khan Muttaqi said: “Those in neighboring countries, the region, and elsewhere should not harbor negative thoughts about Afghanistan. The country is now unified and, after much experience, has built a strong system.”

The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs said that those dreaming of re-occupying Afghanistan should reflect on Afghans’ past struggles against invasions.

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar said: “We call on all countries with ill intentions toward Afghanistan to know that we are monitoring everything and have our own calculations. These countries should learn from Afghanistan’s history.”

The General Director of Intelligence, another speaker at the event, stated that the Islamic Emirate will not allow any interference in the country’s internal affairs.

Abdul Haq Wasiq added that the Islamic Emirate’s system is permanent this time, and no one should dream of its collapse.

He said: “No one should think the Islamic Emirate will be occupied or that this system will fall apart. No, God willing, this time the Emirate is a strong system, and no one will be able to act against it.”

August 19, commemorated as the day of Afghanistan’s independence restoration, has been marked for the past 105 years under various regimes.
