Hundreds of people were martyred in the earthquake in some eastern provinces of the country

Last night, a 6.2 magnitude earthquake shook the eastern provinces of the country and caused huge financial and human losses to citizens.

Officials of the National Disaster Preparedness and Countermeasures Office in Kunar province say that about 250 people were martyred and 500 others were injured in the earthquake last night in the districts of Nur Gul, Suki, Watpur, Manogi and Chapa Dara of the province.

Meanwhile, the media office of Nangarhar province announced that 9 people were martyred and 20 others were injured in the earthquake in the village of Satn, Dara Noor district of the province.

At the same time, it has been reported that dozens of people were also injured in Laghman province.
