Readout of the Secretary-General’s meeting with H.E. Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan  

The Secretary-General met with H.E. Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan.   The Secretary-General thanked Turkmenistan for hosting the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. 

The Secretary-General and the President also discussed Turkmenistan’s initiatives aimed at promoting international peace and trust. The Secretary-General appreciated Turkmenistan’s support for the UN 80 Initiative and the Pact for the Future.
