Local officials in Balkh reported that the Taliban fired several rockets at the headquarters of the 209th Shaheen corps.

The 209th Shaheen Corps also confirmed the incident, saying that Taliban fighters fired several mortar shells at their headquarters and even attacked civilian homes.

Meanwhile, some sources say that the Taliban fired the mortar shells from the west end of Imam Bakri Bridge and the north of Dehdadi district.
