385 Taliban fighters have been killed in the last 24 hours in 14 provinces

The Ministry of National Defense reports that 385 Taliban fighters have been killed in the last 24 hours in 14 provinces of the country.
The ministry said in a statement that the Taliban fighters were killed in clashes and counter-attacks by defense and security forces.
The ministry also said that 210 fighters of the group had been wounded in the clashes and that a large amount of weapons and ammunition of the group had been destroyed.
According to the ministry, Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Nangarhar, Logar, Ghazni, Paktika, Maidan Wardak, Kandahar, Herat, Farah, Jawzjan, Samangan, Helmand, Takhar, Baghlan and Kapisa provinces.
The Taliban have not yet commented.
