Sar-e-Pul province fell to the Taliban

Sources in Sar-e-Pul report that the province has fallen to Taliban fighters.
Sources say the province building, police headquarters and national security have fallen to the Taliban.
According to these sources, the forces stationed in the province retreated to the army battalion two kilometers from the city this morning.
However, according to some sources, fighting is taking place near the army battalion.
Sar-e-Pul is the third province to fall to Taliban militants in the past two days.
Yesterday, the city of Sheberghan, the capital of Jawzjan province, also fell into the hands of the group’s fighters, and the day before, the group also captured Nimroz province.
