Gunmen robbed in a hospital at Herat

Sources in Herat report an armed robbery at the Kavid-19 Hospital in the province.

Health officials in Herat province say that last night 20 people, 5 of whom were armed, entered the Kavid-19 mania hospital in Herat and committed armed robbery.

Confirming the incident, Herat police spokesman Mahmoud Shah Rasouli said that a police investigation had been launched to identify and arrest the perpetrators.

Clashes between government forces and the Taliban have been going on for several days in Herat province.
