State Department of US: About 2,000 people left Afghanistan in 24 hours

The State Department US says nearly 2,000 people have been evacuated from Afghanistan in the past 24 hours.

Wendy Sherman, a spokeswoman for the ministry, told a news conference yesterday that all the men had left Afghanistan on military planes.

He added that over the past few days, about 5,000 peoples of have been requested to leave Afghanistan in Kabul.
