Germany is providing € 100 million to support Afghan refugees

The German government has announced a € 100 million grant to Afghan refugees who have taken refuge in neighboring countries.
According to a statement from the German Foreign Ministry, the aid will be used to support international aid organizations caring for Afghan refugees in neighboring countries.
“This is the first step that shows we feel responsible and we are working on this,” German Finance Minister Olaf Schultz told the media.
With the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban, the majority of citizens have been forced to flee the country and seek refuge in neighboring countries.
