An Afghan pregnant woman given birth on a US military plane

A pregnant Afghan woman gave birth on board a flight to Germany, the US Air Force Command said in a tweet.

According to the command, after the deterioration of the situation of this woman, the commander of the plane reduces the altitude to increase the air pressure.

The U.S. military says the mother and baby are in good health.

The command said the woman and child were assisted by the base’s medical support staff after landing at Rammstein Air Base.

However, after the capture of Kabul by the Taliban, the majority of the country’s citizens are going to Kabul airport to leave Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the US military says it transports about 1,000 people a day from Kabul airport to another country.
