The Taliban closed Kabul airfield to Afghans

A Taliban member says Kabul airport will be closed until further notice due to overcrowding and disorder.

The Taliban member said that the entrance to the airport was blocked by Taliban forces because the Afghans had created a lot of disorder at the airport entrance gates.

The Taliban member added that Kabul airport would be closed to those with citizenship of the other countries until further notice.

The last remaining foreign troops at Kabul airport will leave Afghanistan by August 31.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Turkey announced yesterday that the process of withdrawal of Turkish troops who had come to Afghanistan within the framework of NATO and were present at Kabul Airport has begun.
