Sports activities resumed in the country

Mawlawi Bashir Ahmad Rostamzai, the head of the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, announced the resumption of sports activities and considered sports as the guarantor of the health of the society and assured the athletes that the Islamic Emirate supports athletes and sports heroes.

Mufti Mohammad Nazir, a representative of the Islamic Emirate, also spoke at the event and asked young athletes to do their sports activities in the light of Islamic law.

Only men’s sports activities have started, but the fate of female athletes is still unknown, and Taliban members have not yet commented.
