Rocket attack on Kabul Airport

Five rocket shells were fired at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

Authorities reported that 5 rocket shells were fired at Hamid Karzai International Airport from inside a vehicle in the Khairkhana region of Kabul.

Expressing that the rockets were destroyed in the air, the official said that it is not yet known by whom the attack was carried out.

Yesterday evening, US troops announced that they carried out an attack against the terrorist organization DAESH in the capital, Kabul. However, Afghan authorities reported that 9 civilians from the same family lost their lives in the attack.

The 20-year war between the USA and Afghanistan ends tomorrow, so the evacuation procedures are still continuing at full speed at the airport.
