The first commercial flight between Pakistan and Afghanistan has taken place

Two weeks after the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, the first trade flight between Pakistan and Afghanistan has taken place.

Mansour Ahmad Khan, Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan, tweeted that the commercial flight had transported a consignment of World Health Organization medical equipment from Islamabad to Mazar-e-Sharif.

All flights were suspended after the Taliban took control of Kabul on August 15.
