Taliban: The new government will be announced in two days

The Taliban were quoted as saying by the BBC that work was under way to form a new government and would be announced in two days.
In an interview with the BBC, Abbas Stanekzai, the deputy head of the Taliban’s political office in Qatar, said that Taliban representatives had talked with former President Hamid Karzai, Abdullah Abdullah, chairman of the Supreme National Reconciliation Council, and Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, leader of the Islamic Party of Afghanistan.
Stressing that these people will not be included in the government, Stanekzai said that the future government would be Afghan inclusion.
Regarding the role of women, she said that they would play a role in the new Taliban government and could return to work after the government was formed.
According to her, women will not face any problems in the society, school and university by observing the Islamic hijab and Afghan traditions.
But Mr Stanekzai emphasized that he could not say for sure that women would be promoted to senior positions.
