Cavusoglu: Private company can take over Kabul airport security

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoglu has said that a private company could take over security if the Taliban does not want a military presence at Kabul airport.
“If the Taliban do not want a military presence at Kabul airport, the task of securing the airport can be left to a private company,” the Turkish foreign minister was quoted as saying in a news conference with the Dutch foreign minister.
Mr. Çavuşoglu mentioned the presence of a 19-member technical team at Kabul Airport to reconstruct it and said that the planes could land and take off at the airport.
