The death of Amrullah Saleh’s brother was confirmed by the Taliban

The Taliban have confirmed that Amrullah Saleh’s older brother was killed in a clash with the group in Panjshir, according to the Bakhtar news agency.

Ruhollah Azizi, the elder brother of Amrullah Saleh, the Former First Vice President, was killed in a clash with the Taliban in the Bazarak district of the capital of Panjshir province, the news agency reported.

Meanwhile, some media outlets have reported that Amrullah Saleh’s elder brother was arrested by the Taliban last night in Rokha district and then shot.

But the Taliban have not commented on the arrest or shooting of Ruhollah Azizi.
