Fahima Rahmati: The Taliban took my two brothers and my sister’s husband after a search of my house

Fahima Rahmati, a civil activist and head of the Hila Charity Foundation, says the Taliban toke her two brothers and sister’s husband away after a search of her home.

Ms. Rahmati told 8Sobh that last night, after the Taliban entered her house, they beat her and took her two brothers, sister’s husband and some relatives.

“The Taliban came home first and took all the women and children out of the house. They beat me and took our phones,” he said.

But the Kandahar provincial press office said some irresponsible people had searched Fahima Rahmati’s house and they are seeking to arrest the perpetrators.
