Afghanistan Representative to the United Nations: Foreign mercenaries help the Taliban to kill the people of Panjshir

Afghanistan’s permanent representative to the United Nations says foreign mercenaries are helping the Taliban kill people in Panjshir.
“Despite the silence in the Panjshir Valley, we see that crimes, including deliberate killings, have been committed there with the support of foreign mercenaries,” said Nasir Ahmad Andisheh, Afghanistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Europe.
He added that there were reports that the Taliban had killed journalists and, in some cases, brutally suppressed them.
He added: “I call on the international community to condemn the Taliban’s actions in curbing the peaceful protests of those who defend their rights. “We urge all countries to do their utmost to ensure the reception of refugees and migrants from Afghanistan.”
The Taliban recently announced that they had taken full control of Panjshir, a claim denied by Panjshir resistance forces and they said they were present throughout the Panjshir Valley.
