The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), a multi-purpose militant organization in Central Asia and the Caucasus and a signatory to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Belarus, issued a statement on Afghanistan.
In its statement on Afghanistan, the organization reaffirmed its determination to use the available resources to ensure the security of the Covenant member states against threats posed by Afghan territory.
“The CSTO member states also call for the suppression of any security threat from Afghanistan and reaffirmed their determination to use the organisation’s available resources to ensure the security of the CIS member states,” said Stanislav Zas, secretary general of the CSTO.
