The Taliban are not present at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly

The spokesman for the UN Secretary-General was quoted as saying by Sputnik Farhan Haq that the Taliban representatives were not on a list of people to attend the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, which began on September 14 and will continue for a year.
“On September 15, 2021, the Secretary-General received a message signed by Ambassador Ghulam Ishaqozi, Permanent Representative of the Government of Afghanistan to the United Nations in New York, containing a list of the Afghan delegation to attend the 76th General Assembly.”
He stressed that the list includes only those who work as permanent agents in Afghanistan.
