According to Sputnik, the reason for the visit of the head of the World Health Organization, Adhanum Kabrisos, to Afghanistan is to talk to the Taliban to support the challenged health institutions in Afghanistan.
The head of the Ministry of Public Health also confirmed the news and said that the purpose of this visit is to discuss the continuation of the financial assistance suspended by the World Bank to the Afghan health sector.
Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) warned that more than 2,000 health centers in Afghanistan were in danger of being closed.
