An explosion in the city of Jalalabad killed a Taliban

Officials in Nangarhar province say a Taliban fighter has been killed in an explosion in the Siraj al-Emarat area of Jalalabad city.

The blast was caused by a landmine targeting a Taliban vehicle, officials said.

It is said that 7 other Taliban were wounded in this explosion.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast.

Meanwhile, at least three Taliban insurgents were killed in three separate explosions in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the blasts.
