Talks between the Pakistani government and the Pakistani Taliban began with the Taliban being hosted in Afghanistan

According to Pakistani media, talks between the country and the Pakistani Taliban have begun with the mediation of the Taliban government in Afghanistan.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan confirmed to Pakistani media that the talks between his country and the Pakistani Taliban were being mediated by the Taliban in Afghanistan.
“Some Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) groups wanted to negotiate with the Pakistani government and we are in contact with some of their leaders in this regard and our efforts to disarm these militants and turn them into citizens,” he said. “It’s normal, it’s flowing.”
“If members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) lay down their arms and surrender to the government, the government will forgive them and they can live like ordinary citizens,” he added.
But the Taliban government in Afghanistan has said nothing about mediating the talks.
