A shipment of Turkish humanitarian aid arrived in Afghanistan

33 tons of food aid packages from Turkey arrived in Afghanistan within the framework of the Turkish Red Crescent.
The aid is said to include 2,000 food parcels that will be distributed to 16,000 needy families in coordination with the Afghan Red Crescent.
Meanwhile, the Turkish ambassador in Kabul said that the country would send more aid to help needy families in Afghanistan.
“As far as you know, Turkey has been cooperating with the Afghan people for many years,” said Jihad Erkinai, Turkey’s ambassador to Kabul. “In cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent Society, we will continue to provide assistance to vulnerable and displaced families.”
Meanwhile, the Afghan Red Crescent Society has previously called for more cooperation from the international community to help to needy families in the country.
