Armed attack against Taliban in Laghman and Nangarhar provinces

At least five Taliban forces have been killed and wounded in armed attacks on Taliban members in Nangarhar and Laghman provinces.
Local officials in Nangarhar province say a bomb had exploded at a car carrying Hamza, the district governor of Kameh district, and injured him and two of his bodyguards.
Meanwhile, local officials in Laghman province have confirmed that unidentified gunmen have attacked several Taliban members in the Hada area of the province.
Two members of the group were killed and at least three others were injured in the attack, officials said.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Earlier, however, several members of the group were killed or wounded in similar attacks in Jalalabad, Nangarhar province.
