Taliban: We are ready to form an inclusive government, not an elected one

The Taliban have stated that they are ready to form an inclusive government but do not accept that it is selective.
Soheila Shaheen, a spokeswoman for the Taliban’s political office in Qatar, told Al Jazeera that they wanted to form an inclusive government, but not a selective one.
He also called on the international community to respect the wishes of the Afghan people.
Meanwhile, senior US officials and the Taliban will meet in Doha today and tomorrow.
Reuters reported that the safe departure of American citizens and Afghans seeking to leave Afghanistan was part of the talks on both sides.
However, US Special Envoy for Afghanistan Zalmai Khalilzad, who was involved in the peace talks, is also said to be present in this meeting.
