Turkey sent 142 tons of food to Afghanistan

According to the Anatolian News Agency, the aid was sent to Afghanistan by the Turkish Red Crescent Society, for a total of 5 lari, which is 142 tons of food.
Carlos Camillo, head of the Turkish Red Crescent delegation in Pakistan, told Anatoly that the Bait Al Salam Foundation and the Pakistan Red Crescent Society had cooperated with the Turkish Red Crescent Society in sending the aid to Afghanistan.
According to him, the aid is to enter Afghanistan through the Torkham border and be distributed to residents of Kabul, Daikundi, Laghman and Nuristan.
Camilo said the aid was intended for more than 30,000 people.
Turkey has previously sent humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
