Japan is providing $ 65 million in aid to Afghanistan

The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced another $ 65 million to support Afghanistan and its neighbors.

Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi has said his country will provide an additional $ 65 million in humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and neighboring countries.

He said the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan had deteriorated since the fall of Kabul and that its citizens were justified in food shortages.

According to him, with the allocation of 65 million dollars, the total aid of Japan to Afghanistan will reach 200 million dollars.
